My Ballot for this week’s SEC Power Poll

By Jacob on October 27, 2009
Cody Helmet Off

You would take your helmet off too if you were this pretty.

1. Alabama (1)

2.Florida (2)

3.LSU(3) – Can’t figure out LSU.  Is an average LSU team still a top 10 team in the country?

4.South Carolina (4) – Great Defense, OK Offense.

5.Kentucky (6) – Battle tested and may end up 9-3.  Probably the best team no one talks about.

6.Tennessee (9) – A scary team.  They are going to upset South Carolina or Ole Miss and probably end the season with 6 or 7 wins.

7.Georgia (8) – This is a tough one.  They have more losses than Ole miss, but I believe Georgia would win if they played.  Mississippi’s has been too weak to get a feel for how good they are.

8.Ole Miss (10) – Move up a couple spots on my ballot after winning Saturday.  With one of the easiest schedules in the country, they are going to have to beat Auburn and Tennessee to move up to 5 or 6 in the SEC.

9.Arkansas (5) – Took a step back after the loss to Florida.  We’re the hogs hung over or is this a sign of things to come?  We have had one of the toughest schedules in the country… I think we probably win 5 of our last 6.

10.Auburn (7) – Taking their place near the bottom as was expected.  They won their first 5, but looks like they will lose 4 in a row.

11.Mississippi State (11) – Looked to have Florida’s number for a lot of the game on Saturday.  The SEC is going to be even tougher in a couple years.

12.Vanderbilt (12)
