It has recently been announced by Grant Merrill that his radio station has provided free air-time to Westboro in exchange for not showing up at Garrett Uekman’s funeral. KEWI out of Saline County has provided the compromise and has released a statement on their website.
Grant Merrill is a long-time fan of Arkansas and was shocked to hear of the protests. He immediately came into contact with Westboro and provided a compromise that satisfies all parties. Only last week, Oklahoma State did the same regarding the tragic loss of their Women’s basketball coaches.
