Arkansas Freshman WR Kane Whitehurst Arrested

Arkansas Football took another hit today as Freshman WR Kane Whitehurst was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphanalia early this morning at 6:48 AM. He was released this afternoon after posting a bail of $1,320.

UAPD received a report of a black BMW squealing tires and speeding through the Garland Avenue parking garage early Sunday morning. Officers spotted the car and pulled Whitehurst over where they found various Marijuana tools including a grinder, pipe, and small baggie containing marijuana.

Whitehurst hails from Alpharetta, GA and is highly preached upon by Coach Petrino for his talent.

UPDATE Sunday 4:29 P.M.: Comment from Bobby Petrino through the U of A: “I am aware of the situation and it will be handled appropriately.”
