BOISE STATE (W) 41-14

Tony Bua is named SEC Defensive player of the week after he helped the hogs to a 41-14 win. Bua had 12 tackles, an Interseption, a blocked punt, forced a fumble, and broke up a pass.

SOUTH FLORIDA (W) 42-3

The Arkansas Razorbacks put up 21 first-quarter points as the Hogs cruised to a 42-3 victory over the South Florida Bulls in front of a sellout crowd at War Memorial Stadium.

The Alabama Crimson Tide got 100-yard rushing performances from Shaud Williams and Santonio Beard en route to a 30-12 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

TENNESSEE (L) 41-38 - 6ot

In the 3rd longest game in NCAA History (UofA has been in all 3) the Hogs fell to Tennessee when Casey Clausen hit tight end Jason Witten on a 25-yard touchdown pass in the sixth overtime to give the 10th-ranked Vols The victory.

AUBURN (W) 38-17

Razorback tailback Fred Talley torched the Auburn defense for 241 yards rushing. Talley's rushing effort was second highest mark in Arkansas history, trailing on Dickey Morton's 271 yards against Baylor in 1973.

KENTUCKY (L) 29-17

Trailing by a point at halftime, the Kentucky Wildcats exploded for 20 points in the third quarter to come away with a 29-17 victory. KY QB. Jared Lorenzen threw for 253 yards and hit on 19-of-31 attempts.

OLE' MISS (W) 48-28

The Arkansas Razorbacks scored 24 points off turnovers en route to a 48-28 victory over the Rebels. The Hogs had 336 yards of offense with 257 rushing yards. Senior Fred Talley ran for 136 yards, his third straight 100-yard game.

Defenses dominated the day as neither Arkansas nor Troy State broke the 150-yard barrier in total offense. The Hogs give Troy State their first shut out since Oct. 1, 1983, a span of 230 games.

The Hogs become bowl eligable after beating South Carolina 23-0 in Williams-Brice Stadium. The Hogs' victory was its first shutout road win of an SEC team ever and the second consecutive shutout win of the year.

Ken Hamlin’s second interception of the day stopped a potential game-tying touchdown drive by Louisiana-Lafayette with less than two minutes remaining in the game as the Razorbacks held on for a 24-17 victory.

Holding a seven point lead with less than a minute remaining, the Arkansas Razorbacks held Mississippi State on fourth down to preserve a 26-19 victory over the Bulldogs. Mark Pierce had 2 TDs 1 rushing and 1 receiving.

The Miracle on Markham... Trailing by six with less than 20 seconds left in the game, Matt Jones found DeCori Birmingham in the back of the end zone for a 31-yard TD to tie the game at 20-20 with nine seconds left. Extra Point clinched the SEC West.

SEC Championship - GEORGIA (L) 30-3

The 4th Georgia Bulldogs scored 23 unanswered points in the first half and used a smothering defense to cruise to a 30-3 victory. The Dogs blocked a punt early to setup their first score and never looked back.

Music City Bowl - MINNESOTA (L) 29-14

After giving up a touchdown on the first possession of the game, the Minnesota Golden Gophers reeled off 29 straight points to come away with a 29-14 victory over the Hogs.
