The Commencement Schedule for Dec. 1894 as published by the “Arkansas Sentinel” of Fayetteville on November 20, 1894. The schedule includes a game between Arkansas and Fort Smith high School for Wednesday during the Commencement activities between Saturday December 1st and Thursday, December 6th. On December 11th The “Arkansas Sentinel” quoted the Fort Smith “News Record” describing the game.
As of 2010 the Arkansas Media Guide lists this game as being played on October 27th.
