Razorback Helmet History Correction
I just updated the helmet history page to correct the 1952-1957 helmet history section. Previously I had written that the Hogs wore a cardinal helmet without a facemask until the numbers and facemask was added in 1957. This was a mistake as I have photos in the razorback photos archive that show Arkansas players with a facemask starting in 1955.

Jacob…Broyles added the jersey number to both sides of the helmet in his first year at Arkansas. That was 1958…not 1957 as described in your helmet history.

Numbers…1958 thru 1963
The HOG on the helmet…1964 thru forever
