Keep Your Hogeyes On the Prize

By Sharp "Tusk" Williams on September 25, 2010

We all wanted to win and would have loved nothing better than to hold the crown of beating No. 1.

A Winner doesn’t forget losses but sheds their effects. Winners have talent, a positive attitude and work with singular focus to do what it takes to win.  A Winner goes out to win as much as a Winner possibly can for as long as a Winner can.

The Razorbacks are Winners, and WE NEED TO BE AS GOOD AS FANS AS WE WANT THEM TO BE AS A TEAM.

Arkansas’ schedule remains favorable, and while the Hogs will be shuffled in the polls, the BCS rankings don’t start until Week 6.  Two wins will have the Razorbacks close to the Top 10 once again at 5-1.

BCS Top 8 are strong candidates for BCS Bowl games, and an SEC Championship appearance isn’t a “must” to go to a BCS Bowl, see 2006 LSU to Sugar Bowl.

For the Hogs to represent the West, ‘Bama has to lose two SEC games, unlikely, and Arkansas must win out.

An unprecedented 11 regular season wins and the school’s first ever BCS appearance is what we’re fighting for.
