Lou Holtz – College Football Hall of Fame

by Jacob

angry-louLou Holtz is the latest Razorback Coach to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.  Other former Head Hogs in the Hall of Fame include Hugo Bezdek, Frank Broyles, Francis Schmidt, and Bowden Wyatt.

Six times, Lou Holtz took over a team that was struggling and lead them to a bowl game within two years.  Holtz replaced Frank Broyles following the 1976 Season.  He inherited a 5 win team and in 1977 lead them to an 11 win season including a win over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

While at Arkansas Lou Holtz was 60-21-2 (0.735) and trails only Ken Hatfield in win percentage (0.760) in modern Razorback history.

I am looking for a Lou Holtz pep talk – inspirational talk recorded on video, when he was at Arkansas. He spoke about “team trust”
Can any body help me locate this video?
