5th Year Senior Seth Oxner Transferring

Seth Oxner

Offensive Lineman Seth Oxner has decided to end his career as an Arkansas Razorback. He confirmed his decision today through a team spokesperson.

Oxner, backup to former Hog Jonathan Luigs, started every game in the 2009 season but was jumped over in the depth chart last season by Travis Swanson. He graduated last weekend from the University with a degree in Applied Exercise Science.

“I’ve enjoyed my time in Fayetteville, and I want to thank the coaching staff and my teammates for everything they have done for me and the great experiences we have had together. I look forward to watching the program continue to have success in the future.”

Oxner has yet to make an announcement regarding his future moves, but it seems rather likely that he will return to his hometown of Monticello to play for the Boll Weevils. Oxner has one year remaining of eligibility.

Highlights of his career include a 2010 Liberty Bowl win over East Carolina. WPS
