Yes, it is often said, but so, so true.
LSU fans do smell like corn dogs.
I would never tell them that to their face though. This is something better said at internet distances. Even now, I am afraid.
I am afraid that they’ll know I said it. I’ll walk past an LSU fan someday, and he’ll see that look in my eye that gives it away. That look that says, “gee, what is that smell? Is it corn dogs?” The next thing you know, I’ll have flat tires on my car.
If you only learn one thing from me today, remember not to tell LSU fans how they smell – you know, like corn dogs.
LSU fans seem, somehow, sensitive to that whole corn dog issue.
NCAA 10 will be released a month from today on the PS3 and Xbox 360. One of the great features EA Sports has added this year is the ability to create your own team. For years I have wished there was a vintage Razorback […]
I have added a Razorback Logo Page and uploaded a few High Resolution Arkansas Razorback Logos to the site. For a few years now, I’ve been trying to find a good 1964 Arkansas Razorback logo to make a Replica Football helmet for the National […]
I have been working on an updated design on hogdb.com for a while now. The next version will be a simplified version of what you see now – with larger / bolder fonts with the content you’re looking for more prominately displayed. With the […]
@RazorbackExpats took us for a trip down memory lane today… Following the 1989 Season Ken Hatfield took the Razorbacks to the Cotton Bowl to play the Tennesse Volunteers. The Hogs lost the game, which was Hatfield’s final game as the Arkansas Coach. We were able to […]
1909 – COACH HUGO BEZDEK’S PERFECT SEASON
Coach Hugo Bezdek was the Razorbacks eighth football coach in 14 seasons of play. He was only 24 years of age when he accepted the position fresh from his playing career for Amos Alonzo Stagg at the University of Chicago. Bezdek was the first true head coach at Arkansas. Others had been “student managers” chosen by the student body. Coach Bezdek was hired by the university.
In his first season of 1908 his team went 5-4 including a blow-out victory over Mississippi but losses at the hands of Texas 21-0, Oklahoma 27-5 and to LSU by 36-4. Things changed in 1909 however.
Just added to the Hog Database forum – 1973 Arkansas vs Southern California game summary…. Frank Broyles lead the Razorbacks to Los Angeles in September of 1973 seeking revenge for the Trojans 31-10 win over the Hogs in Little Rock to open the 1972 season. […]
This is a brief history on the Official Arkansas Razorbacks website (Formerly HOGWired). The first official Arkansas Razorback website was released in spring 1997 with the title HOGWired. The name was partially inspired by Florida’s NaviGator, which later became GatorZone. HOGWired also came complete with the ultra […]

There is a thread over on hogville concerning the original mascot of the University of Arkansas. I believe we were referred to as “The Cardinal” not as the Cardinals as is sometimes said. A couple of posters from hogville believe our mascott was mearly […]
